Roche Diagnostics Wins Nine E-HealthCare Leadership Awards
Industry Trends Publisher Names Roche as a Top e-Health Innovator

Roche Diagnostics, E-Business unit, located in Indianapolis, Ind. announces it recently received nine industry awards for leading the industry for e-healthcare strategies. Roche received the awards recently at a special presentation during a Healthcare Internet & Technology conference sponsored by the Chicago-based Forum for Healthcare Strategists.

Organized by industry publication eHealthcare Strategies and Trends, the awards are presented annually to healthcare organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical firms and vendors for achievement in consumer web initiatives. eHealthcare Strategies and Trends published the results in their December edition and can be found at www.strategichealthcare.com.

Roche took top honors in various categories, including the CEO Commitment to Healthcare, honoring Martin Madaus, Roche Diagnostics North American President and CEO in the pharmaceutical/diagnostics category. Other categories that Roche Diagnostics took first, second or distinction awards include overall Internet site, e-Business strategy, content, interactivity, and site design. Sites receiving the 2002 eHealthcare Leadership Awards were selected from more than 1,000 entries.
