Roche Diagnostics Introduces Scalable and Flexible Software Solution
for Laboratories
Middleware Solutions Automates Lab Results
Today at the American Association of Clinical Chemistry's (AACC)
annual Expo, Roche Centralized Diagnostics of Indianapolis, Ind.,
introduced Middleware Solutions powered by Data Innovations®
Instrument Manager (DI). Middleware Solutions provides laboratories
with a solution that will close the gaps between instrumentation
and laboratory information systems (LIS).
Middleware Solutions enables labs to increase labor efficiency and
standardize processes without any added complexity, allowing for
accurate and rapid results production. These solutions are completely
customizable, with advanced features such as rules-based decision
processing, autoverification and archiving.
In addition, these provide labs with solutions to achieve faster
turnaround time with Real-time real-time reflex testing, real-time
reruns, and real-time delta checking resulting in cost/time efficiency
for the lab as well as greater convenience and peace of mind for
the clinician and patient.
"Middleware Solutions significantly reduces laborious laboratory
tasks, thus allowing lab professionals to take control and automate
their information flow, resulting in increased efficiency and superior
results production," said Hunter Bagwell, Program Manager,
Roche Centralized Diagnostics. "Consequently, the solutions
will generate the true product of the laboratory - actionable healthcare
information. Laboratorians, clinicians, and patients will benefit
from this flexible and easy-to-use platform."
Middleware Solutions from Roche will be available in September.
