The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) is
pleased to announce that Roche Diagnostics Corporation will sponsor
the AMP Award for Excellence in Molecular Diagnostics through a
generous partnership from 2004-2008. AMP
The Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) Award for Excellence
in Molecular Diagnostics recognizes lifetime pioneering and special
achievements in molecular diagnostics and molecular medicine by
professionals in the fields of molecular biology, molecular pathology,
pathology, genetics, microbiology and basic medical sciences. Awardees
research has provided the scientific rationale for, or led to the
development of, novel technologies for molecular diagnostics; and
contributed significantly to disease and patient management. The
Award is presented annually at the AMP Annual Meeting. For further

The AMP Award for Excellence in Molecular Diagnostics is
the central focus of our annual meeting. We are very appreciative

Southern, PhD (1999); and Francis Collins, MD PhD (1998).
