Roche Diagnostics Awarded Urinalysis Contract by HealthTrust
Purchasing Group
Agreement broadens access to actionable healthcare information
that is important for peoples well-being
Roche Diagnostics announced today that the company has renewed a
three-year contract with HealthTrust Purchasing Group (HPG) to provide
visual and automated urinalysis products for acute care and alternate
site facilities. The contract is effective May 1, 2004 through April
30, 2007 and has a total value of $3.6 million.
This renewal award includes the CHEMSTRIP® 101, CHEMSTRIP Criterion
II, CHEMSTRIP® Urine Analyzer and URISYS 2400 instruments
plus strips and supplies and all visual urinalysis strips and continues
a long-term relationship between HPG and Roche Diagnostics. Roche
Diagnostics currently has contracts with HPG for blood glucose and
blood gas products.
