Congestive Heart Failure and Prostate Cancer Tests to Reach Premier
Customers
Roche Diagnostics and Premier Sign New Three-year Agreements
for Portfolio of Products
Roche Diagnostics Corporation announced it has signed new three-year
contracts with Premier Purchasing Partners, LLP to continue providing
Roche Diagnostics' instruments, reagents, and consumables to Premier
members for multiple product categories. Covered under these contracts
are the MODULAR® ANALYTICS and Integrated MODULAR®
ANALYTICS systems; the COBAS Integra® Systems; MODULAR
PRE-ANALYTICS Systems and VS II Automation Systems; MODULAR,
COBAS Integra, and Elecsys® reagent kits; automated and visual
urinalysis products and point-of-care coagulation products. The
test menu covered by these contracts includes proBNP, troponin T,
free Prostate-Specific Antigen (free-PSA), D-Dimer, which are measured
in patients with heart disease, prostate cancer and deep vein thrombosis
respectively. Therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) and drugs-of-abuse
assays (DAT) are also part of the contract.
These new contracts continue a long-term relationship between Premier
and Roche Diagnostics which now include the areas of clinical chemistry
and immunochemistry instruments and reagents, blood glucose monitoring,
urinalysis, molecular testing, and point-of-care coagulation.
