Roche Diagnostics Terminates Its Agreement With Hock's Vandalia Pharmacy
Product Distribution Method Incongruent With Contractual Terms & Conditions

Roche Diagnostics Corporation today announced that it has terminated its Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Agreement with Hock's Vandalia Pharmacy. The termination of the relationship resulted from the discovery of the use of product distribution methods that did not comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement.

"Roche Diagnostics is committed to ensuring that those products intended for a particular class of trade are distributed to the appropriate end-user," stated Daniel Kane, Vice President of Consumer Sales, Diabetes Care, Roche Diagnostics. "To assist with that objective, we implemented a formalized audit process to monitor customer compliance with the terms and conditions of our contracts. As a result of this process, Roche Diagnostics decided it should terminate this customer contract as it has done over the past year with other DME suppliers for noncompliance related to product distribution methods."

Roche Diagnostics is not in the position to release additional information about other DME supplier contract terminations.
