Roche Diagnostics Awarded Blood Glucose and Lancet Contracts by
HealthTrust Purchasing Group
Blood glucose agreement broadens access
to actionable healthcare information available from Point of Care
testing; Lancet agreement brings comfort and safety to patients
and staff
Roche Diagnostics announced today that the company has signed a
new dual source three-year contract with HealthTrust Purchasing
Group (HPG) LLC to provide hospital glucose meters, test strips,
and ancillary connectivity solutions to HPG members. The blood glucose
contract is effective September 1, 2004 through August 31, 2007.
In addition, a separate optional source contract for the ACCU-CHEK®
Safe-T-Pro® Lancet devices has also been signed and is effective
through April 31, 2006.
Included under these contracts are the ACCU-CHEK Inform hospital
blood glucose monitor, the ACCU-CHEK Comfort Curve Hospital Test
Strips, , the ACCU-CHEK Safe-T-Pro Lancet Device, and ACCU-CHEK
Safe-T-Pro Plus Lancet Device and ancillary IT products, including
Medical Automation Systems' RALS® products.
