Roche Diagnostics has received FDA clearance for the 9-minute STAT Parathyroid Hormone test on the Elecsys® 1010 and 2010 systems and cobas e 411 analyzer.

Delivers rapid turnaround while retaining excellent sensitivity and precision

Roche Diagnostics today announced that it has received FDA clearance for the 9-minute STAT Parathyroid Hormone (PTH) test on the Elecsys® 1010 and 2010 systems and cobas e 411 analyzer. Roche is the only diagnostics company to offer a 9-minute STAT PTH test on an automated immunoassay platform.

PTH is an immunoassay for the in-vitro quantitative determination of intact parathyroid hormone in human serum and plasma for the differential diagnosis of hypercalcemia and hypocalcemia.

Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) technology delivers excellent analytical sensitivity and specificity on PTH tests for the Elecsys 1010 and 2010 systems and cobas e 411 analyzer. The combination of speed and precision can provide improved healthcare outcomes for both the physician and the patient.

The STAT PTH test offers excellent precision, lower detection limit and measuring range and the rapid turnaround time physician’s demand.
