Roche Diagnostics Subleases Marsh Corporate Headquarters

INDIANAPOLIS—Roche Diagnostics and Marsh Supermarkets have completed a sublease agreement for Roche to occupy the former Marsh corporate headquarters located near I-69 in Fishers.

Roche looked at several options to either build new, expand, or sublease existing space to accommodate growth, production and R& D capacity and distribution needs. After a thorough evaluation, Roche decided that the former Marsh building was the best alternative to accommodate its requirements. As a result, Roche will sublease the entire building with approximately 148,000 square feet.

“We are pleased that we were able to find a facility near our corporate office just south of 96^th street and I-69 in Indianapolis and our Fishers office, just north of 96^th street with the square footage and amenities similar to what we offer in our other locations. With this additional location Roche Diagnostics is well positioned for growth beyond 2011,” said Kent Kost, President of Roche Diagnostics Operations.    

“The Fishers Town Council couldn’t be happier that another excellent corporate citizen will occupy the building that serves as a focal point at the entryway of our community,” said Fishers Town Council President Scott Faultless. “Anytime we can bring high-tech, excellent paying jobs to Town, our residents benefit.” 

Substantial renovations will take place through the end of 2008 with the first occupant moving in late 2008 and early 2009.
